Beasiswa Perancis untuk Jenjang Master dan Doktoral

Pemerintah Perancis atau Bourse du Gouvernement Français (BGF) menawarkan Beasiswa ke Perancis untuk tahun ajaran 2010/2011. Pengiriman aplikasinya paling lambat sampai 31 Maret 2010 mendatang.

BGF diperuntukkan bagi para staf pemerintahan, dosen, serta mahasiswa di instansi-instansi atau universitas yang telah memiliki program kerjasama dengan pemerintah Perancis. Program beasiswa ini pun diberikan hanya untuk dua jenjang pendidikan, yaitu Master (beasiswa penuh selama 2 tahun) dan Doktoral (beasiswa penuh selama 18 bulan).

Untuk memeroleh beasiswa ini, BGF pun hanya akan memberikan prioritas kepada para pelamar yang telah melakukan identifikasi program, baik itu Master (S2) atau Ph.D Doktoral (S3), dan yang telah memiliki respon positif atau memperoleh rekomendasi dari profesor Prancis atau surat penerimaan.

Adapun skema beasiswa ini meliputi biaya kursus Bahasa Prancis di CCF Jakarta, biaya hidup, asuransi, serta tiket pulang pergi Indonesia-Prancis.

Beasiswa PU Untuk Jenjang D3, D4, Dan S2

Beasiswa PU. Kementrian Pekerjaan Umum dan Badan Pembinaan Konstruksi dan Sumber Daya Manusia menawarkan Beasiswa Pendidikan Profesional Keahlian Teknik Konstruksi Pekerjaan Umum untuk tahun anggaran 2010. Beasiswa diperuntukkan untuk jenjang D3, D4, serta Magister S2 Teknik bekerjasama dengan beberapa Perguruan Tinggi Nasional (PTN) terkemuka.

Untuk pendidikan program D3 bekerjasama dengan Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Sapta Taruna Jakarta (khusus untuk pegawai dilingkungan Kementerian PU Pusat), Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya Palembang, Politeknik Negeri Bandung, Universitas Diponegoro Semarang, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya, Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin, Universitas Haluoleo Kendari, Universitas Tadulako Palu, serta Universitas Cendrawasih Jayapura.

Sementara untuk pendidikan program D4 akan bekerjasama dengan Politeknik Negeri Padang, Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya Palembang, Politeknik Negeri Bandung, Universitas Diponegoro Semarang, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya (ITS), Politeknik Negeri Pontianak, Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin, Politeknik Negeri Manado, serta Politeknik Negeri Kupang.

Untuk pendidikan program Magister S2 akan bekerjasama dengan Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Universitas Parahyangan (Unpar) Bandung, Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) Semarang, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Solo, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Yogyakarta, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya, Universitas Hasanuddin (UNHAS) Makassar, Universitas Brawijaya (Unibraw) Malang, serta Universitas Syiah (Unsyiah) Kuala Banda Aceh.

Sementara itu, untuk memfasilitasi pendidikan program Magister Teknik Sumber Daya Air (Water Resources Development/WRD) dan Irrigation Water Management akan bekerjasama dengan Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee di India.

Beasiswa Master dan PhD Bidang Pertanian dari SEARCA

Beasiswa PhD. The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) mengundang lulusan di bidang pertanian dan bidang terkait (termasuk ilmu biologi, ilmu sosial, ekonomi dan statistik, kehutanan dan perikanan, ilmu lingkungan, agro-industri teknologi dan rekayasa, biokimia, dan pengembangan manajemen) untuk mengajukan aplikasi beasiswa Phd dan Master untuk tahun akademik 2011-2012. Berikut ini keterangan lengkapnya:

Launched in November 2005, the SEARCA PhD Research Scholarship provides financial support to a limited number of qualified PhD students whose researches are relevant to the priority thrusts of SEARCA.
This scholarship program aims to:

  1. Provide PhD students the opportunity to use the resources and facilities available at SEARCA and its network of universities for their research;
  2. Produce quality research papers for publication; and
  3. Enable them to work with SEARCA’s R&D personnel on mutually identified areas of concerns/interests in agriculture and rural development.


Eligibility for the Grant
Any graduate student who is a citizen of any SEAMEO member country and pursuing a PhD in agriculture or related sciences from any university in the world is eligible to apply for the scholarship.

The applicant must have already completed his/her course work with an approved dissertation proposal and is ready to conduct the dissertation research. The applicant’s research must focus on any of SEARCA’s priority thrusts under the broad themes of natural resource management and promotion of agricultural competitiveness.


Application Requirements

  • Filled out Application Form (see below);
  • Letter of application for the research scholarship;
  • Recommendation letter from the Dean of Graduate School of the university where the student is pursuing his/her degree program;
  • Dissertation research outline/proposal approved by the Advisory Committee and Dean of Graduate School;
  • Budgetary requirement for the entire research duly attested and recommended by the major adviser and Dean of Graduate School;
  • Certified transcript of academic records for all courses taken at the PhD level;
  • Curriculum vitae;
  • Letter from the student certifying that he/she is not receiving any other research grant from any other institution. If partial funding has been obtained from other sources, a certification from the funding agency indicating the amount of grant and the items in the research that are covered by the grant; and
  • Research timetable indicating the activities involved in the research, the expected date of defense and expected date of seminar paper presentation.

PhD Research Scholarship


MS/PhD Scholarships

Its people are Southeast Asia’s most potent force for progress. Hence, agricultural human resource development has been SEARCA’s primary goal since its establishment. SEARCA is one of the “centers of excellence” established by SEAMEO. As such, SEARCA assists SEAMEO member countries in producing highly trained human resources in agriculture and related sciences to accelerate agricultural and rural development in Southeast Asia.
Two of SEARCA’s activities that carry out this mandate are the Graduate Study Program and the University Consortium. Both activities are handled by the Graduate Scholarship Department (GSD).

This degree scholarship was initiated in academic year 1968-69 and aims to ensure the relevance and responsiveness of Southeast Asia’s agricultural scientists and professionals to global sustainable development issues.
The program provides support for advanced studies leading to the MS and PhD degrees in agriculture, forestry, and related fields. Thus, SEARCA aims to prepare grantees for positions of leadership in developing economies of SEAMEO member countries.
Applicants may also view information on benefits and privileges of scholars, places of study, application procedures, where to apply, recruitment procedures, and conditions of the grant.

Benefits and Privileges

  • The SEARCA scholarship offers the following benefits and privileges:
    Financial Support covers stipend, tuition, international and domestic travel allowances, thesis/dissertation support, book allowance, and health insurance. The domestic travel allowance is sometimes allowed to support registration fees in training courses/seminars/workshops.
  • Discounted Accommodation. Scholars are encouraged to stay at the SEARCA Residence Hotel (SRH) to meet other graduate students of different nationalities. Scholars who bring their families with them can stay in SEARCA apartments, also at subsidized rental fee.
  • Assistance with Student Visa Processing. The Center takes care of processing the extension of its scholars’ student visas for the duration of their scholarship.
  • Computer Purchase Loan. This is given to scholars without interest and payable to the Center in a specified number of months through automatic stipend deduction.
  • In-house and Other Training Courses or Seminars. Scholars may avail of these training courses upon request, especially in fields related to their studies. Official functions like the weekly SEARCA Agriculture and Development Seminar Series are also open to them. They are, therefore, exposed to exchange of ideas outside their classrooms.
  • Use of SEARCA Facilities. Facilities open to SEARCA scholars are the Center’s Library and Email Room. Scholars studying at UPLB are given free SEARCA e-mail accounts and e-mail access.
  • Participation in Sociocultural Activities. SEARCA scholars are introduced to the SEARCA family through orientation/welcome party. Being part of the SEARCA family, they are invited to the Center’s summer outing, sportsfest, anniversary celebration, and Christmas parties.
  • Counseling. Scholars who are experiencing academic difficulties and those with personal problems may seek guidance from the Graduate Scholarship Department.

Places of Study
Any of the following universities, as well as those that have institutional arrangements with SEARCA, may serve as study posts of SEARCA MS and PhD scholars:

Five of these universities are members of the Southeast Asian University Consortium for Graduate Education in Agriculture and Natural Resources. SEARCA serves as the Secretariat of the

University Consortium.

SEARCA reserves the right to make the final decision on the choice of ten scholars’ study post. Therefore, applicants are required to submit to SEARCA applications for admission to the Graduate Schools of three universities in the list.

Application Procedure
Any interested national of a SEAMEO member country may apply for scholarship. Applications may be submitted to any one of the following Ministries of his/her own country:

  • Ministy of Education
  • Ministry of Agriculture
  • Ministry of Forestry
  • Ministry of Fisheries
  • Ministry of Rural Development

Application forms and information brochures on the universities that may serve as study posts of SEARCA scholars are available at these Ministries.

Each applicant is required to submit the following documents:

  • SEARCA Scholarship Application Form (2 copies);
  • Application forms for admission to the Graduate School of the universities where the applicant may pursue graduate studies under SEARCA scholarship;
  • Official transcript of academic records of each degree completed (BS transcript for MS applicants and BS and MS transcripts for PhD applicants);
  • Certification of employment;
  • A two-page write-up on agricultural competitiveness or natural resource management;
  • A brief description of the research that the applicant plans to conduct for thesis/dissertation. The research topic must be in line with the priority thrusts of SEARCA. (SEARCA Five-Year Plan may be viewed at http://www.searca.org/web/e_library/reports/SEARCA%208th%20Five-Year%20Plan.pdf);
  • Two copies of passport-size pictures of the applicant;
  • Certification from a medical doctor that the applicant is in good physical and mental health condition and is fit to undertake graduate studies;
  • Official endorsement from the employer;
  • Results of Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): score of 550 for paper-based and 213 for computer-based) or IELTS results (6.0). The TOEFL results must be issued by Princeton, New Jersey, USA. Beasiswa Luar Negeri untuk Belajar di Rusia

Beasiswa Luar Negeri. Pemerintah Federasi Rusia memberi kesempatan kepada warga negara Republik Indonesia untuk mendapatkan 35 beasiswa setiap tahun, sejumlah 25 beasiswa untuk jenjang pendidikan S1 (Bachelor) dan S2 (Magister) dan 10 beasiswa untuk jenjang pendidikan S3 (Aspirantura), pos-doktoral (Doktorantura), penelitian/ pelatihan (Stazhirovka).

Perlengkapan yang disediakan dan biaya yang ditanggung penerima beasiswa adalah:

  • Perlengkapan baju, sepatu dan alat pendukung lain yang memadai untuk iklim Rusia.
  • Uang saku untuk pengeluaran pribadi minimal 300 USD per bulan dan polis asuransi kesehatan 250 USD per tahun.
  • Biaya penjemputan, transportasi dari airport ke tempat tujuan dan registrasi paspor minimal 250 USD (kecuali untuk kota-kota di luar Moskow).
  • Tersedia asrama mahasiswa yang ongkos sewanya dibebankan kepada penerima beasiswa (+/- 30 USD per 6 bulan)
  • Tiket pesawat pergi-pulang, Rusia-Indonesia. (Jakarta-Moskow +/- 900 USD).

Berkas lamaran diajukan dan diurutkan sebagai berikut:

  • Mengisi lembar aplikasi dalam Bahasa Inggris 2 kali (format aplikasi terdapat di PIPKR).
  • Fotokopi ijazah dan transkrip nilai yang dilegalisir lembaga pendidikan yang mengeluarkan, masing-masing dibuat 2 kali.
  • Terjemahan ijazah dan transkrip nilai dalam Bahasa Inggris yang dilegalisir lembaga pendidikan yang mengeluarkan atau penerjemah tersumpah, kemudian disahkan notaris, masing-masing dibuat 2 kali.
  • Surat keterangan lulus tes kesehatan (hendaknya tidak mengalami hambatan terhadap iklim Rusia) beserta keterangan bebas HIV/AIDS, dalam Bahasa Inggris, dilegalisir instansi yang mengeluarkan, dibuat 2 kali.
  • Fotokopi Akta Kelahiran, 2 lembar.
  • Terjemahan Akta Kelahiran dalam Bahasa Inggris oleh penerjemah tersumpah kemudian disahkan notaris, 2 lembar.
  • 10 lembar pasfoto 4×6 berwarna.
  • Fotokopi berwarna sebanyak 2 lembar dari lembar pertama paspor dan data diri lengkap pelamar (untuk mengisi visa). Masa berlaku paspor setidaknya terhitung 1,5 tahun sejak tiba di Rusia.
  • Membayar biaya pengganti yang dikeluarkan PIPKR untuk pengiriman berkas lamaran, biaya telepon dan faksimil ke Rusia sebesar Rp.500.000,-.

Beasiswa tersedia untuk semua Ilmu Alam; Ilmu Teknik; Ilmu Sosial; Ilmu Humaniora. Tetapi untuk Hubungan Internasional, Seni dan Olahraga tidak tersedia beasiswa.

Untuk Ilmu Hukum dan Ilmu Politik, masing-masing hanya tersedia 1, untuk Kedokteran hanya tersedia 2.

Beasiswa Brunai Darussalam. Pemerintah Brunai Darussalam membuka kesempatan bagi mahasiswa asing untuk belajar di Brunai Darussalam. Berikut ini adalah keterangannya:

With His Majesty’s consent, the Government of Brunei Darussalam is offering annual scholarships under a special scholarship award scheme, commencing in 2010/2011 academic session:

Tenable in Brunei Darussalam, the aim of the Scholarship awards is to provide students, with the opportunity to study at Universiti Brunei Darussalam [UBD], Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali [UNISSA] and Institut Teknologi Brunei [ITB]. The academic year for UBD, UNISSA and ITB commences in July / August 2010.

1. ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be citizens of ASEAN, OIC, Commonwealth Member Countries and others and must be between the ages of 18 – 25 at the commencement of the academic session for which they are applying foradmission. However, under exceptional case, the age limit requirement may be waived for candidates who are applying for Masters and PhD Programmes.

The awards are NOT eligible to Brunei Permanent Residents and foreigners residing in Brunei Darussalam for more than three months.

The Scholarship award is normally tenable according to the duration of the specific programme which is four years for an Honours First Degree or one to two years for a Master’s Degree or three years for a  Doctoral programme at UBD, UNISSA and ITB, two and a half years for HND at ITB on full-time basis.

2. TENURE OF SCHOLARSHIP
The Scholarship award is subject to the scholar maintaining satisfactory conduct and satisfactory progress in the scholar`s studies (this requires the scholar to maintain an active registration status by passing the prescribed semester examinations and obtaining the minimum course credit units).

3. TERMS OF AWARD

  • The scholarship covers
  • Tuition fees.
  • Air-tickets by economy class for which the scholar will only be provided on the following occasions: from the scholar’s home country to Brunei Darussalam at the
    commencement of the programme; from Brunei Darussalam to the scholar’s home country after the completion of the programme.
  • Free medical and dental treatment at any Government hospital subject to conditions stipulated by the Ministry of Health. However there will be administrative charges for every consultation (currently at B$3.00), admission to class A1, A2 and A3 wards and charges for certain dental treatment as stated in the schedule 1 Dental Treatment issued by the Ministry of Health.
  • Other allowances payable will include:  Monthly personal allowance of B$500.00. and Annual Book Allowance of B$600.00.

Beasiswa Sampoerna. Sampoerna Foundation menyediakan satu (1) beasiswa untuk mengejar Master of Business Administration di universitas terkemuka di luar negeri. Setelah menyelesaikan program, penerima beasiswa diwajibkan untuk kembali ke Indonesia untuk menerapkann pengetahuannya.

Sampoerna Foundation Beasiswa MBA Luar Negeri terdiri dari pilihan berikut:

I. Syarat-Syarat Dasar

Pemohon harus memenuhi SEMUA persyaratan berikut:

  1. Warga Negara Indonesia yang berada di bawah usia 35 tahun ketika mengajukan aplikasi
  2. Memegang gelar Sarjana lokal dari berbagai disiplin dengan Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif minimal 3,00 (pada skala 4,00).
  3. Memiliki minimal 2 tahun penuh waktu pengalaman kerja profesional setelah menyelesaikan gelar sarjana.
  4. Saat ini tidak terdaftar pada program pasca sarjana, atau memperoleh gelar Master atau setara.
  5. Tidak lulus dari perguruan tinggi luar negeri, kecuali berada di atas beasiswa penuh.
  6. Tidak menerima Beasiswa setara lainnya atau beasiswa menawarkan manfaat lain yang serupa atau pada saat penghargaan.
  7. Telah mendaftar pada universitas yang direkomendasikan oleh Sampoerna Foundation untuk tahun akademik 2010/2011 dengan tanggal penutupan aplikasi beasiswa ini (1 Februari 2010).
  8. Menyampaikan hasil TOEFL / IELTS dan GMAT dengan skor minimum yang diperlukan oleh universitas yang dipilih.
  9. Memiliki motivasi untuk kembali ke Indonesia dan bekerja di Indonesia setelah menyelesaikan program MBA.

Setiap pemohon terbukti memiliki informasi palsu di / formulir permohonan atau dokumen-dokumen yang dilampirkan di dalamnya akan segera didiskualifikasi.

II. Persyaratan Lanjut
Pemohon juga harus:

  1. Menunjukkan potensi kepemimpinan dan kepentingan dalam dan komitmen masyarakat dan pembangunan nasional.
  2. Memenuhi persyaratan untuk mendapatkan visa pelajar dari negara yang ditunjuk atas penerimaan beasiswa.

Sesuai dengan penerapan aturan beasiswa dan peraturan yang ditetapkan oleh Sampoerna Foundation, partner institusi untuk masing-masing program, dan universitas.

III. Lingkup Beasiswa
1. Beasiswa meliputi berikut:

  • GMAT dan TOEFL / IELTS penggantian, satu kali saja, berdasarkan faktur asli;
  • *Universitas biaya pendaftaran, untuk sampai dengan 2 (dua) universitas;
  • * Student visa application fee;
  • * Return tiket pesawat dari Jakarta ke tempat studi;
  • * Biaya pendidikan, selama masa studi;
  • * Living uang saku, untuk mendukung biaya hidup selama masa studi;
  • * Sastra uang saku, untuk membeli buku pelajaran yang diperlukan untuk belajar.

2. Beasiswa ini ditujukan untuk full-time / studi kelas biasa saja.
3. Penerima beasiswa tidak diizinkan untuk melakukan segala bentuk pekerjaan setiap saat selama studi.

IV. Lama Beasiswa

  1. Beasiswa diberikan untuk maksimum 2 (dua) tahun, atau seperti yang dinyatakan oleh universitas.
  2. Penerima beasiswa diwajibkan untuk menyelesaikan / studinya dalam waktu 2 (dua) tahun. Kegagalan untuk menyelesaikan studi dalam jangka waktu ini akan menghasilkan dikenakan penalti dimana penerima beasiswa harus kembali 50% dari total jumlah dana beasiswa yang sudah dicairkan.
  3. Kelanjutan dari beasiswa tunduk pada memuaskan sarjana akademis maupun non-akademis kemajuan.

V. Berhenti Studi
Penerima beasiswa tidak berhak untuk berhenti studi selain rehat semester dijadwalkan oleh universitas tanpa persetujuan tertulis sebelumnya dari universitas dan Sampoerna Foundation.

VI. Ketenagakerjaan

Sampoerna Foundation tidak mewajibkan penerima beasiswa untuk bekerja bagi Sampoerna Foundation dan afiliasinya atau organisasi pendukung namun ada kewajiban bagi penerima beasiswa atau Sampoerna Foundation untuk terlibat dalam bentuk pekerjaan di masa depan.
Setelah selesai studi, penerima beasiswa diwajibkan untuk kembali dan bekerja di Indonesia selama 5 (lima) tahun berturut-turut menyumbangkan ketrampilan dan pengetahuan yang diperoleh dari studi MBA untuk pembangunan negara.

VII. Penalti

  1. Sampoerna Foundation akan mengenakan sanksi bagi yang peserta yang memberikan data-data yang tidak sesuai dengan persyaratan dan ketentuan beasiswa, termasuk namun tidak eksklusif untuk akademis dan non-akademis dan partisipasi dalam kegiatan-kegiatan wajib. Hukuman dapat berupa pengurangan dana, dana penangguhan, atau penghentian dana beasiswa.
  2. Apabila penerima beasiswa memutuskan untuk mengundurkan diri dari skema beasiswa, dana yang sudah dicairkan oleh Sampoerna Foundation sebagai bagian dari cakupan beasiswa harus benar-benar dilunasi oleh penerima beasiswa.

VIII. Penghentian

  1. Beasiswa akan segera diakhiri apabila:
    * Para penerima beasiswa terbukti telah memalsukan informasi dalam formulir aplikasi, atau,
    * Para penerima beasiswa ini dipecat dari program studi atau dikeluarkan dari universitas; atau,
    * Para penerima beasiswa terlibat dalam kegiatan ilegal atau kriminal.
  2. Beasiswa akan dihentikan apabila penerima beasiswa tidak lulus akademis dan non akademis evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh Sampoerna Foundation setiap 6 (enam) bulan dan gagal untuk memperbaiki / penampilannya yang diberikan dalam masa percobaan.

IX. Tugas dan Kewajiban Lainnya

Penerima beasiswa harus:

  1. Bertindak sesuai dengan Sampoerna Foundation aturan dan peraturan, serta orang-orang dari universitas.
  2. Hadir dan berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan Sampoerna Foundation.
  3. Berpartisipasi aktif dalam program pengembangan pribadi, seperti:
    * Kegiatan sosial, yang akan dilakukan oleh masing-masing universitas atau organisasi komunitas lokal di mana sarjana tinggal, selama minimal 36 jam per tahun ajaran.
    * Program Orientasi, yang akan membantu penerima beasiswa untuk beradaptasi dengan masyarakat setempat, dan untuk memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik Sampoerna Foundation visi dan misi.
  4. Berpartisipasi aktif dalam program pengembangan profesional, seperti program magang.
  5. Selama program studi, penerima beasiswa diharapkan untuk menjaga korespondensi secara teratur dengan Sampoerna Foundation untuk melaporkan / dia akademis maupun non-akademis kemajuan.
  6. Setelah berhasil menyelesaikan program, penerima beasiswa diharapkan untuk bergabung dengan Ikatan Alumni SF dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam program-program dan kegiatan.
  7. Kembali dan bekerja di Indonesia selama 5 (lima) tahun berturut-turut setelah selesai studi untuk menyumbangkan keahlian dan pengetahuan yang didapat untuk pengembangan negara.
  8. Berpartisipasi dalam Skema Kontribusi Alumni, dan di lain program dan kegiatan wajib seperti yang dijelaskan di sini atau di masa depan.

Beasiswa Sampoerna . PT. Rio Tinto Indonesia bekerjasama dengan Sampoerna Foundation menyediakan satu (1) beasiswa penuh bagi individu yang memenuhi syarat untuk mengejar gelar Master dalam Ilmu Sosial, Sains, atau Commerce di University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia.

SYARAT BEASISWA

  1. Warga Negara Indonesia, pemegang KTP Sulawesi Tengah atau Sulawesi Tenggara dengan usia maksimum 35 tahun ketika mengajukan aplikasi.
  2. Memegang gelar sarjana lokal dari berbagai disiplin dengan Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif minimal 3,00 (pada skala 4,00).

Beasiswa S2 SCG Foundation di Chulalongkorn University Thailand

Beasiswa S2 SCG Foundation. Siam Cement Group atau SCG Foundation membuka kesempatan beasiswa penuh bagi yang ingin melanjutkan studinya melalui program Master of Arts Program International Development Studies atau MAIDS di Chulalongkorn University untuk tahun akademik 2010-2011.

Saat ini, program tersebut masih terbuka penuh untuk para pegawai negeri, mahasiswa, dan pendaftar lain dari berbagai latar belakang instansi lainnya di enam negara Asia Tenggara, yaitu Thailand, Vietnam, Kamboja, Laos, Indonesia, dan Filipina. Pada tahun-tahun mendatang, program beasiswa ini kemungkinan akan dibatasi hanya untuk kalangan pegawai negeri atau pemerintah saja.

SCG Foundation dan program MAIDS akan mendistribusikan satu beasiswa untuk tiap negara. Batas waktu aplikasi pendaftarannya dibuka sampai 31 Maret 2010.

Berikut ini informasi lengkap tentang beasiswa S2 SCG Foundation di Chulalongkorn University Thailand :

The SCG Foundation is pleased to grant up to 6 full scholarships for individuals wishing to study at the Master of Arts Program in International Development Studies (MAIDS) at Chulalongkorn University for the upcoming 2010-2011 academic year.

Please note that in previous years the scholarship was limited to full-time government employees or civil servants, but it is now open to non-governmental workers, students, and other individuals with a background in development, as well as government employees.

1. Eligibility (6 Scholarships)

Scholarships are open to government workers, non-profit sector employees, students and other individuals with a background in development from each of the following Southeast Asian countries:

  1. Thailand
  2. Vietnam
  3. Cambodia
  4. Laos
  5. Indonesia
  6. Philippines

The SCG Foundation and the MAIDS programme will seek to distribute one scholarship per country.

2. Scholarship Coverage

I) Living Expenses

  • Roundtrip airfare (up to 25,000 baht)
  • Housing (5,000 baht/month)
  • Food (8,000 baht/month)

2) Education Costs

  • Tuition Fees (Thai Scholar: 252,000 baht; International Scholar: 337,500 baht)
  • Workshop and/or Fieldtrips (15,000 baht)

Total Scholarship Value

  • Thai Scholarship: 464,800 baht/scholarship
  • International Scholarship: 575,300 baht/scholarship

3. Scholarship Conditions:

  1. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for MAIDS admission AND be admitted to the MAIDS program.
  2. SCG Foundation Scholars are expected to graduate within the prescribed 12 month period (excluding the pre-session course). Students who are required to enroll in additional semester(s) will have to bear the additional cost of living and tuition fees.
  3. SCG Foundation Scholars must not be employed – either part-time or full-time – during their studies/scholarship tenure.
  4. Following graduation, SCG Foundation Scholars are expected to return to work for their home governments for a period of two years.

4. MAIDS Program Admission Requirements:

I) Entry Requirements

  • Applicants should possess a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in the social sciences with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0.
  • Applicants should also have 2 years work experience in a related field. Mature students, junior to mid-level government officials with experience in development are encouraged to apply.

II) English Language Requirements

Candidates will be required to demonstrate an acceptable level of language proficiency. Applicants should have achieved an English language score of at least 6.0 on the British Council IELTS, 550 in the paper-based TOEFL, 213 in the computer-based TOEFL, or 550 in CU-TEP (Chulalongkorn University Test of English Proficiency). These three above-mentioned tests are the only ones excepted by Chulalongkorn University. Please also note English tests scores must be less than two years old at the time of application.

Please note that these scores, although a minimum requirement for admission, do not guarantee successful admission or completion of the program. The candidate should feel comfortable writing graduate-level academic essays and participating in class discussions in English.

I) Application period

As stated above, MAIDS scholarship applications are due March 31st , 2010.

II) Required Materials

Students applying for the Master of Arts in International Development Studies must submit the following materials:

•  Transcripts: Applicants must submit an original or certified copy of their transcript from the college or university previously attended. Transcripts that are not in Thai or English must be translated and certified in the English language.

If you are currently enrolled in an academic programme, please submit an official report of your current mid-term grades.  You can send your final grades at a later date when they become available.

•  Photocopy of previous degree(s)

•  English language test scores (if applicable): The programme accepts photocopies of English test scores (TOEFL, IELTS, CU-TEP) for the application process. Please note, however, that the admitted students will have to present the original score record to Chulalongkorn University at the beginning of the academic year.

Alternatively, the student can have ETS, the company that administers TOEFL, send the score directly to the programme. Chulalongkorn University ’s TOEFL institutional code is 0227. The MAIDS programme does not have a departmental code registered with ETS, so make sure to write clearly “M.A. in International Development Studies, Faculty of Political Science” on the score report request form.

•  Letters of recommendation: Applicants are required to ask two instructors or employers familiar with their work to send sealed letters of recommendation with letterhead and original signatures. Please also provide the following reference form to your referees and ask them to fill it out:

Please provide your referees with the above form and ask for a confidential reference to be returned to you in a signed and sealed envelope. Please return the unopened envelope to the MAIDS Office with the application form. The referee also has the option of sending the reference directly to the MAIDS Office.

• Curriculum Vitae/Resume: The resume must provide information on current and past employment, academic awards and scholarships, international travel, publications, and extracurricular activities, including volunteer work.

•  Statement of Purpose: The statement of purpose should be between 600 and 1000 words, and include the following elements:

- Describe your most valued experience or accomplishment.
- Describe your research interests, and outline a tentative topic for your M.A. thesis.
- Describe your career expectations (personal and professional objectives), and explain how the M.A. in International Development Studies at Chulalongkorn will help you achieve these goals.

•  Writing Sample: The MAIDS programme requires all applicants to submit a sample of their critical or analytical writing. This may be a paper written for an undergraduate course, a published academic or journalistic article, or another appropriate writing sample. Applicants should briefly explain – using a separate document – the context in which the sample was originally written, including information on the nature of the publication in which it appeared, and the date of publication.

The objective of the sample writing is to assess the applicants’ analytical and writing skills. The ability to write clearly in English – both for native and non-native speakers – is essential to fulfill the written requirements for this M.A. programme in International Development Studies.

•  Photocopy of ID Card (for Thai applicants) or passport (for non-Thai applicant) .

•  Two photographs: Applicants must submit two recent one inch photographs.

•  Application fee: There is a non-refundable application fee of 800 Thai baht .

The fees can be paid in cash at the MAIDS office, or deposited directly in the programme’s bank account (see details below). If the money is transferred to the programme’s account the applicant must submit a photocopy of the bank transfer receipt with the application. Applicant Interviews

The MAIDS admissions team may decide to interview applicants by phone or in person if it is viewed as necessary. The purpose of the interview is usually to ensure that students have an adaquate understanding of development issues combined with an appropriate level of English language proficiency to complete their M.A. degree within the prescribed 12-month period.

Please note that the MAIDS admissions team will inform those students requiring after the application deadline.

MAIDS Pre-Session

Shortlisted students who are accepted to the programme following their interview may also be required to participate in a four-week intensive introductory session in Bangkok prior to the beginning of classes in October. This session will cost approximately 15,000 baht and will include classes in the following areas: Academic English, Research Methods and Development Theory.

Acceptance of Admission

Successful scholars will be notified whether or not they must attend the pre-session at the same time they are notified of their scholarship status (see above timeline). Beasiswa S2 Fulbright-Freeport Master's Degree Program

Selain menawarkan program beasiswa S2 Fullbright, Aminef juga menawarkan Fulbright-Freeport Master’s Degree Program khusus untuk penduduk Papua. Berikut ini adalah syarat-syaratnya.

Fulbright Scholarship for Master’s and PhD programs offered to residents of Papua in the field of Metallurgy, Geology / Geotechnical, Mining Engineering, Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical), Computer and Science in Governmental / International Relations. Applicants must have:

  • KTP Papua
  • Bachelor degree (S1) for a Masters degree and S2 for a PhD with a minimum 3.0 GPA (4.00 scale).
  • leadership.
  • good understanding of Indonesian and foreign cultures.
  • commitment to the field of study choices.
  • commitment and dedication to the development in Papua.
  • willingness to return to Papua after the program Fulbright finished.
  • Minimum TOEFL 550 to 575 programs for Master’s and PhD programs.

REGISTRATION

Scholarship applicants must fill out and complete the registration form. Form was completed can be sent by post or delivered directly to the office AMINEF, Balai Pustaka Building, 6th Floor, Jl. Gunung Sahari Raya 4, Jakarta 10720.

Registration can be submitted to AMINEF appropriate application deadline include:

  • Application form was completed. Objective Study also included a clear and well written.
  • Copy of TOEFL test the most recent, still valid and less than 2 years.
  • One letter of recommendation from employers or professors work in the study.
  • Copy of academic transcript (English translation).
  • Copy of identity card (KTP or passport).

Beasiswa S2 Fulbright Master’s Degree Program 2010

The American Indonesian Exchange Foundation (AMINEF), sebuah yayasan bi-nasional nirlaba menawarkan program beasiswa S2 Fulbright.

Setiap tahun,  lebih dari 120 beasiswa diberikan kepada orang Amerika dan Indonesia untuk belajar, mengajar, atau melakukan riset dalam berbagai disiplin ilmu. Hibah yang diberikan mencakup biaya kuliah, tunjangan buku, pemeliharaan bulanan, tiket pesawat internasional, dan asuransi kesehatan.

Prioritas diberikan kepada staf pengajar perguruan tinggi negeri dan swasta di Indonesia. Pelamar harus memiliki:

  • gelar Sarjana (S1) dengan IPK minimal 3,0 (skala 4,00)
  • jiwa kepemimpinan
  • pemahaman dengan baik kebudayaan  Indonesia dan asing
  • komitmen pada bidang studi pilihan
  • kesediaan untuk kembali ke Indonesia setelah Program Fulbright selesai
  • angka TOEFL paling rendah 550

PENDAFTARAN

Pelamar beasiswa harus mengisi dan melengkapi formulir pendaftaran.  Formulir yang sudah dilengkapi dapat dikirim melalui pos atau diantar langsung ke kantor AMINEF, Gedung Balai Pustaka, Lantai 6, Jl. Gunung Sahari Raya 4, Jakarta 10720.

Pendaftaran dapat diserahkan ke AMINEF sesuai batas waktu pendaftaran termasuk:

  • Formulir aplikasi yang sudah diisi. Disertakan pula Study Objective yang jelas dan ditulis rapi.
  • Fotokopi hasil tes TOEFL yang paling baru, masih berlaku dan kurang dari 2 tahun.
  • Satu surat rekomendasi dari atasan tempat kerja atau dosen di tempat belajar.
  • Fotokopi transkrip akademik (terjemahan bahasa Inggris).
  • Fotokopi kartu identitas (KTP atau paspor).

Pertanyaan lebih lanjut mengenai proses pendaftaran dapat dikirim melalui e-mail ke: infofulbright_ind@aminef.or.id. Pengiriman formulir pendaftaran tidak dapat dikirim melalui e-mail. Formulir pendaftaran asli dikirim ke American Indonesian Exchange Foundation.

BATAS WAKTU PENDAFTARAN

Batas waktu untuk penyerahan formulir pendaftaran dan lampiran untuk semua program adalah 30 April 2010.
